Online booking may incur up to a 20% fee for cancellations.
Cancellations within 24hrs of departure are not eligible for a refund.
No refund shall be given should the vessel sail without you at the advertised time.
Should the trip be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control and you are unable to transfer your booking we will refund your fare.
All trips may be cancelled without notice, in the event of adverse weather conditions. Tour operators reserve the right to substitute another vessel in the event of unavailability of the advertised vessel.
Lets Go Surfing:
We surf in all weather and surf conditions providing it is safe. If the surf is too big, or the conditions unsafe, then we will reschedule the lesson. If you are unable to reschedule a lesson that we have cancelled then we can provide a refund. Otherwise there are no refunds, transfers (to other people), or cancellations. If you would like to reschedule a lesson you have booked, we need at least 24 hours notice. Failure to give the necessary notice will mean forfeiture of that lesson.

Emu Run will charge the following fees upon cancellation:
Day Tours
4-30 days prior to departure – 50% cancellation fee on full cost of tour
Within 3 days of departure – 100% cancellation fee on full cost of tour
Camping Tours, Overnight Tours & Packages
8-30 days prior to departure – 50% cancellation fee on full cost of tour/package
Within 7 days of departure – 100% cancellation fee on full cost of tour/package
BOOKING AMENDMENTS
All booking amendments must be emailed to info@emurun.com.au
The following applies to changes to tour type or departure date of an existing booking:
8 days or more from departure – any difference in tour prices will apply
Within 7 days of departure – full cancellation fees and the full cost of the new tour will apply
If you fail to join a tour, join it after departure, or leave it prior to its completion, no refund will be given.
CONFIRMING YOUR TOUR
All bookings must be confirmed a minimum of 72 hours before departure by email or phone.
WHAT TO BRING
Day Tours
Travel voucher, water bottle (capacity 1.5-2 litres), strong non-slip walking shoes, hat (wide brimmed is best), flynet, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, casual and comfortable clothing (cool, light clothing is best in summer and warm clothing for winter), travel pillow (longer day tours only), swim wear & towel (for tours to West MacDonnell Ranges, during summer only).
Camping Tours
Travel voucher, water bottle (capacity 3 litres), strong non-slip walking shoes, hat (wide brimmed is best), flynet, sunglasses, sunscreen, toiletries, torch (flash light), swim wear, towel, camera, casual and comfortable clothing (cool, light clothing is best in summer and warm clothing for winter), travel pillow, a small overnight bag (please leave your luggage at your Alice Springs accommodation due to space limitations on the bus).
2 Day Package
Travel voucher, water bottle (capacity 3 litres), strong non-slip walking shoes, hat (wide brimmed is best), flynet, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, casual and comfortable clothing (cool, light clothing is best in summer and warm clothing for winter), travel pillow.
SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS & FOOD ALLERGIES
We provide healthy, quality meals on our tours. We are able to cater for one of the following special dietary requests upon request: vegetarian, gluten free or dairy free. If you have a food allergy (eg peanuts) please advise at the time of booking, and carry any necessary medication with you on tour.
AGE & FITNESS LEVEL REQUIREMENTS
For our camping tours, the minimum age is 8. All travellers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for their care. Any packages that include dorm accommodation are not available for children, however we can create a suitable package for families upon request. We have no upper age limit on our tours, although some trips can be physically demanding. For our camping tours, a real spirit of adventure and a medium level of fitness is required as the tours are fast paced. It is important to note that Central Australia experiences extreme weather conditions during summer. Participation is required from passengers on our camping tours for things such as meal preparation and firewood collection (as requested by guide).
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Emu Run recommends that all travellers take out travel insurance to protect you from costs of injury and cancellation fees.
PHOTOS & MARKETING
By booking our tours you consent to us using images of you that are taken on tour for any advertising or promotional purposes. You grant us permission to use these images royalty free for publicity and promotional purposes worldwide.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Emu Run Experience reserves the right to amend the itinerary of any of the tours and arrange alternative carriers to those advertised if necessary. No refunds will be given in these circumstances or in the event of any delay, curtailment or alteration of a trip resulting from any cause including severe weather conditions or mechanical failure. A minimum number of passengers is required to operate each tour. It may therefore be necessary to cancel a scheduled departure and to offer an alternative or full refund for that tour. We accept no responsibility for loss, stolen or damaged property and recommend that all passengers take out adequate travel insurance. Emu Run will accept no responsibility for any injury, illness or other such accident sustained whilst on tour. Any children travelling will be the responsibility of the parent or guardian. All passengers must wear shoes at all times, and be wearing hats and sunscreen.
DATA PRIVACY POLICY
Your privacy is important to us. Any personal information we collect about you may be used for any purpose associated with the operation of your tour and to send you marketing material in relation to special offers or events. Emu Run Experience may disclose information to our agents, suppliers or service providers to enable us to operate your tour. We will not sell, trade or otherwise transfer information you have supplied to us. We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information.
UPDATING THE CONDITIONS OF TRAVEL
Emu Run Experience reserves the right to update and/or alter the conditions of travel and fine print at any time. It is the agent and passengers responsibility to be familiar with the most up to date conditions of travel, which are available on our website.
Calypso Reef Cruises:
Cancellation fees apply if less than 24hrs notice is given prior to departure.
Bunyip Adventure Tour:
Passenger cancellation/date change of any tour, in less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours prior to a departure time will result in a 50% refund of money paid. Cancellation within 24 hours of tour departure or failure to take up a booked tour will result in a 100% forfeiture of the tour fare. Please note also that a “cancellation” includes a change to the date of a tour booking that requires the original booking to be cancelled.
Groovy Grape Getaways:
Cancellation policy: GGT charges 25% 30 - 8 days, 50% 7 days to 24 hours and 100% within 24 hours prior departure.
Amendements: Inside 3 days passengers wanting to change tour dates will be charges a booking amendment fee of $44.00
Australian Wine Tour Company:
Cancellation fees apply to all bookings as follows:
Between 7 and 14 days before tour date : 25% fee.
Between 2 and 6 days before tour date : 50% fee.
There will be no refund if a passenger seeks to cancel a booking within 48 hours of a tour date.
Australian Wine Tour Company will consider a request that a booking be transferred to a later tour date rather than being cancelled, but it may refuse such a request at its discretion.
Captain Cook Cruises (WA):
Cancellation or Changing Passenger Numbers.
Cancellations received with more than 72hrs notice prior to tour departure may receive a refund.
Cancellations within 72hrs of departure no refund will be issued.
IN ALL CASES NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR 'NO SHOWS'
All postponed cruises are treated as cancellations.
Autopia Tours:
Terms and Conditions: Although every effort is made, Autopia Tours shall not be liable for any illness, injury, damages, loss, delay or failure to join the tour that may occur due to factors beyond our control. We highly recommend all passenger have travel insurance coverage. Autopia Tours retains the right to alter routes, itineraries, bus type, fares, days of operation or even cancel tours if unforeseen circumstances occur. Other accredited tour operators may be used on some tours. Accredited Bus Number: AC003612
Cancellation Policy: Cancellation within 2 to 7 days of departure prior to departure will result in a 50% loss of the ticket price; failure to board or cancellation within 48 hours of departure will result in full fare forfeiture.
Autopia Tours will not be held responsible for passengers failing to familiarise themselves with the booking terms and conditions.
HIT THE ROAD TOURS PTY LTD:
