Cancellation Policy:
Due to the extensive organisation involved with touring, a strict cancellation fee will be applicable to compensate for costs and lost revenue. We strongly recommend you take out travel insurance to cover against such charges. Once any payment is made the following cancellation fees will apply in addition to any fees levied by your booking agent:
Cancellation Fees: Day Tours
Cancellation within 2 days (48hrs) of departure results in a 100% cancellation fee.
Cancellations between 3 and 5 days prior to departure results in a 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellation Fees: Short Break Tours (2-5 days duration)
Cancellations within 5 days of departure results in up to a 100% cancellation fee.
Cancellations 6-15 days prior to departure result in a 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations 16-29 days prior to departure result in a 25% cancellation fee.
Cancellations 30 or more days prior to departure results in : up to a 10% fee charged by Adams Pinnacle Tours
Amendment Fees: Day Tours
A charge of $50 per person may apply to booking amendments received more than 5 days prior to tour departure. This is at the sole discretion of Adams Pinnacle Tours. Amendments made within 5 days prior to the tour departure will be treated as cancellations and the applicable cancellation fee will apply.
Amendment Fees: Short Break Tours (2-5 days duration)
A Charge of $100 per person may apply to any modification after the original booking has been confirmed and at least 30 days prior to the tour departure. This is at the sole discretion of Adams Pinnacle Tours. Amendments within 30 days of travel will be treated as cancellations and the cancellation policy applied.
Spirit of Freedom:
An AUD$100 cancellation fee applies from time of booking to 61 days prior to departure.
20% cancellation fee applies with less than 60 Days Notice
100% cancellation fee applies with 21 days or Less Notice
All passengers are strongly advised to travel with Travel Insurance that covers for Trip Cancellation and Scuba Diving Evacuation & Medical cover.
Cairns Adventure Group:
50% Refund within 48 hours no refund if within 24 hours of departure
Captain Cook Cruises (WA):
Cancellation or Changing Passenger Numbers.
Cancellations received with more than 72hrs notice prior to tour departure may receive a refund.
Cancellations within 72hrs of departure no refund will be issued.
IN ALL CASES NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR 'NO SHOWS'
All postponed cruises are treated as cancellations.
Rottnest Express:
Zero to 24 hours (including no shows) before travel = 100% cancellation fee
24 hours to 1 week before travel = 25% cancellation fee
More than 1 week before travel = 0% cancellation fee applied by the tour operator.
Whitsunday Segway Tours:
Prices are inclusive of GST and National Park management fees which help fund assistance to keep the National Park beautiful.
Cancellations made after 6pm the night before or ‘no show’ may incur a 100% charge. Management reserves the right to change or limit tour itinerary or times in extreme weather conditions. Cancellation by management is unlikely but if necessary clients will be offered an alternative day (if available) or full refund.
Liability: Clients should note that riding a Segway involves some risk. While we make every effort to safeguard our clients we cannot be held responsible for personal injury or loss due to the actions of the clients which are beyond our control.
Rider weight restrictions of between 45 and 117kg and age restrictions of 12 years old and above apply. A signed release will be required from all participants before riding the Segways. We recommend you take out travel insurance prior to commencement of the tour.
Segway riders must be free of alcohol and other substances which may impair judgement and be able to stand unaided. You do not need any prior experience to participate in any activities on the Segway Tours.
Skedaddle:
100% cancellation fee if you cancel within 24 hours of booked departure, which includes any factors beyond your/our control and also includes but is not limited to: medical issues, airline or transport delays, bad weather etc (Competition and Consumer Act 2010). Please be aware no show, no refund. Travel insurance is highly recommended. Skedaddle, the company or the captain of the day reserves the right at any time, without compensation, to alter, change or cancel without notice any: Service provided, the tour, part of the tour, the destinations, use only one destination, use a different vessel or any matter or thing. Due in part or in whole but not restricted to: Adverse Weather, strong winds, medical issues (yours or others), mechanical problems or any matter that may affect the safety of a passenger or passengers or the safe operation of the tour or any other problem or issue.
Skedaddle is a lot of fun, fast exhilarating exciting ride! But NOT for everyone. NOT SUITABLE for the frail, elderly, young, bad backs, recent operations or injuries, or those who are pregnant.
